Relaxed, unposed portraits

A warm, friendly approach that puts even the youngest family members at ease. My background is in psychology, which turns out to be more useful behind a camera than you'd expect — most people are uncomfortable being photographed, and my job in the first ten minutes is to take that edge off.

Where we shoot

Beach sessions at Currumbin, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Main Beach; parkland and hinterland locations; or at your own home, which often suits families with young children best.

Packages and pricing

Family sessions include local travel within the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast, professional post-production editing and a Google Drive download link for all high-resolution images. You'll also receive a password-protected online gallery you can share with family, so grandparents and relatives anywhere can see the photographs for themselves. From $180 per hour, with your gallery in seven days.

The best light is the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset, which means only a couple of session slots each day. Weekends book first.
