Gold Coast Holiday Photographer — Photos While You're Visiting
Most people visiting the Gold Coast go home with phone photos. A short session with a photographer gets you something better — and it takes an hour out of a trip you're already on.
I photograph visiting families and celebrations right across the coast, from Coolangatta to Main Beach and inland to the Hinterland. Sessions happen at your accommodation, on the beach, or wherever you're spending your time. School holidays, Easter and the Christmas break are the busiest periods, so it's worth getting in touch early if you're travelling then.
School holidays, Easter and Christmas
The busiest weeks of my year are the ones when everyone travels. Queensland school holidays, Easter and the fortnight either side of Christmas are when extended families are on the coast together — often the only time all year the whole group is in one place. Those weekends book out first, so get your dates to me as early as you can. If you want prints or cards from a December session, the seven-day turnaround means you'll have the images in time.
When and where to book
Get in touch before you arrive if you can — two to four weeks ahead is ideal, and December books out early. If you're already here, ask anyway; I can often fit something in.
Sunrise and the hour before sunset are the best light, and the beaches are quietest then. If you're travelling with young children, we work around naps rather than against them. Tell me where you're staying and I'll suggest somewhere nearby that works.
Sessions start from $180 per hour. Travel across the Gold Coast is included. Full details on the pricing page.
"Thank you so much for your friendliness and patience on Saturday. The photos are brilliant; we are all over the moon about them. You have helped us give my sister the best memories — we can't stop looking at them."
